Ami Lee is a multidisciplinary artist, who is specialized in naïve art form, using mixed media drawings and film making.
Her short films, the City Dog and the Fish in My Planet have won the Best Traditional Animated Film Awards at Concordia University in 2001 and 2002, and the latter film was shown across Canada as part of various film festivals.
Her drawings and paintings have been shown at her latest solo exhibition held at the Alliance Française in Madagascar in 2009, and this sold-out exhibition has been broadcasted in the public media, and her works have received outstanding critics by Mrs. Valerie DeBeer, a former art critic professor at the École des Beaux Arts in France.
She is also a world traveler, and with her husband and their two children, they have visited or lived in 14 different countries over the last 11 years. Her extensive moving and traveling experience have brought her a unique view to her surroundings, and with simplistic and often humorist expression, she brings her impressions to the public to share.
